Video Consultations

Provide Physiotherapy Service and the entire healthcare system are delivering care via video consultations when it is safe and appropriate for service users.

This virtual method of contact may be recommended by the Physiotherapy Service for your initial assessment or follow up appointments based on your own individual needs.

There are many benefits for having a video consultation for your physiotherapy appointment:

  • More convenient and flexible
  • Saves you time and money
  • Reduces stress of travelling
  • Less impact on work time
  • Avoids the risk of catching healthcare associated infections
  • Better for the environment

Watch this short video providing guidance for NHS patients on what to expect when having video consultations with your healthcare professional.

Provide Physiotherapy Service use a secure patient-facing mobile app called AirMid for all video consultations. For more information on how to download and use AirMid – Click Here

If you would still prefer to have a face-to-face physiotherapy appointment, please complete the COVID-19 Risk Assessment and Screening Tool to find out your own level of risk and safety for attending an appointment at one of our sites.

We also have a duty of care to minimise risk of COVID-19 transmission to other service users, staff members and the wider community.
