Video Consultations
Provide Physiotherapy Service and the entire healthcare system are delivering care via video consultations when it is safe and appropriate for service users.
This virtual method of contact may be recommended by the Physiotherapy Service for your initial assessment or follow up appointments based on your own individual needs.
There are many benefits for having a video consultation for your physiotherapy appointment:

- Saves you time and money
- Reduces stress of travelling
- Less impact on work time
- Avoids the risk of catching healthcare associated infections
- Better for the environment

If you would still prefer to have a face-to-face physiotherapy appointment, please complete the COVID-19 Risk Assessment and Screening Tool to find out your own level of risk and safety for attending an appointment at one of our sites.
We also have a duty of care to minimise risk of COVID-19 transmission to other service users, staff members and the wider community.
COVID-19 Risk Assessment
High Risk
Based on your answers, you have a high risk of transmitting and becoming seriously unwell from COVID-19.
Provide Physiotherapy Service advise a video or telephone consultation for your physiotherapy assessment although if you still would prefer to attend a face-to-face appointment despite these risks, complete the COVID-19 Screening Tool and follow the instructions sent via SMS/Email.

Medium Risk
Based on your answers, you have a medium risk of transmitting or becoming seriously unwell from COVID-19.
Provide Physiotherapy Service advise a video or telephone consultation for your physiotherapy assessment although if you still would prefer to attend a face-to-face appointment despite these risks, complete the COVID-19 Screening Tool and follow the instructions sent via SMS/Email.

Low Risk
Based on your answers, you have a relatively low risk of becoming seriously unwell from COVID-19.
If you would prefer to attend a face-to-face appointment rather than video consultation for your physiotherapy assessment, complete the COVID-19 Screening Tool and follow the instructions sent via SMS/Email.

COVID-19 Screening Tool
Based on your answers and according to government guidance regarding measures to reduce COVID-19 transmission, you are currently unable to attend a face-to-face appointment.
Please request a video or telephone consultation for your physiotherapy assessment following the instructions sent via SMS/Email.

Based on your answers, you have the option to attend a face-to-face appointment.
